GLF Schools

GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Would you like to make a positive difference to our school?

The PTA provides vital funds to support learning and enrichment. Any help you can give is extremely welcome.

There are lots of different ways to get involved.

You automatically become a member of the PTA as soon as your child starts at The Vale.

Even if you only have a small amount of time available each year you can still make a difference.

We are very grateful to everyone who supports the PTA's vital work.

Special thanks goes to our wonderful Committee, Class Reps
and Volunteers.

The PTA funds facilities and equipment not available within the school budget.

From school reading books and computers to eco garden plants and playground furniture, we are here to support the school in delivering the best experience possible for our children.

Our target for 2025/2026 is £7,000

Ways that you can help to raise money:

Easy fundraising

Shopping with easyfundraising - thousands of well known retailers will give us a donation when you shop with them through easyfundraising - at no cost to you! Go to www.easyfundraising.org.uk and search for The Vale Primary School PTA (Langley Vale)

Astra recycling

Astra Recycling - recycle clothes, shoes, belts, hats, gloves, scarves, handbags, bed linen, and soft toys. Our recycling bin is in the school car park.

Your school lottery

Your School Lottery - tickets cost £1 per week. There are weekly cash prizes and a £25,000 jackpot. We receive 40% of ticket sales. Go to www.yourschoollottery.co.uk and search for The Vale Primary.

Each year we need to raise a minimum of £3,600 to cover essential costs such as the Reading Cloud, Mathletics, and Read, Write
Inc. subscriptions. Anything raised above this is used to fund equipment and experiences for the children.
