The School Day

8.30 - 8.45 am	School gates open these fifteen minutes allow for a staggered arrival, reducing congestion.
8.45 am	Start of school
11.00 - 11.15 am	Morning Break
12.15 - 1.15 pm	Lunch Time
3.15 pm	End of school day for Infant Department
3.30 pm	End of school day for Junior Department

 

'Brain Breaks' and 'Movement Breaks' are built in throughout the day

 

The official part of the school day starts with morning registration at 8:50 am and ends at 3:15pm for Infants and 3.30pm for Juniors.

This includes breaks but not optional before or after school activities.

The total time this amounts to in a typical week is 32.5 hours for Infants and 33.5 hours for Juniors.
