Fees, Funding and Sessions

The Vale Primary Sep 23 89 (003)Nursery is open 8:50am to 3:15pm Monday to Friday during term time, which supports the school day and our school holiday periods are also the same.

We continue to work with Red Banana and they will be offering Breakfast Club, Afterschool and some holiday provision for all Nursery children please speak with them directly for more information:  Clubs and Wraparound Care - The Vale Primary School

We offer fully funded Nursery places with no hidden charges. Parents who can claim the early years funded entitlement can take their funding between the main Nursery opening hours. If your child is not old enough for funding or does not meet eligibility for the extended entitlement, parents are offered the opportunity to pay for a place at our Nursery. Remember you may also be able to access other financial support towards your childcare costs, such as tax-free childcare.

ALL children are eligible for 15 hours of Nursery funding a week from the term after they turn three, this is called the 'universal offer'.

Working parents of 3 and 4 year olds may be eligible for an additional 15 hours a week, an extended entitlement and often called '30 hours funding'.

Some two-year-olds may also be eligible for funding from either 9 months old or the term after they turn two.

Please visit the Childcare Choices website for full details on early years funding: Childcare Choices | 30 Hours Free Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare and More | Help with Costs | GOV.UK
