Communication with Parents
In the first instance, if you have any queries please contact the school office by visiting or by phone on 01372 273 639.
There is also the opportunity to meet with class teachers or our Inclusion Manager (Monday-Wednesday) at the end of the school day or arrange an appointment for a time that works for you.
We use an electronic system called Parentmail to communicate with our parents. This covers letters, newsletters and general information appropriate to the year group. We also use this system for any emergency messages, such as school closure due to bad weather or delayed return from school trips.
We would like to reassure parents that Parentmail is fully registered under the data protection registrar and guarantees that all information supplied will be kept completely private and there is also no advertising associated with this scheme.
At the end of each week, the school sends a newsletter to all parents containing information about the week and diary notifications.
There is also a Parentmail App and we’d encourage all parents to download this as there are a number of benefits both to you and the school:
- You don’t need to login to pick up messages or attachments when you use the App.
- The App stores all the messages we send you in one place.
- Every message sent arrives as an instant alert on your mobile
You may wish to visit the Parentmail where you will find answers to most if not all of your questions and hopefully allay any concerns you may have. Please remember, you will not be able to utilise the site fully without registering first, when you receive an email from Parentmail, please follow the verification process and you will then be registered. Please contact the school office if you have any questions regarding your Parentmail account.
