Year 1 Explore Mercedes-Benz World
Our Year 1 children had an unforgettable day at Mercedes-Benz World this week as part of their GLF Wider Curriculum learning.
The visit brought their transport topic to life brilliantly, giving them the chance to see real vehicles up close, learn how cars are designed, and discover how engineers solve problems.
The highlight for many was the chance to try out the driving simulators—there were lots of very excited faces, and one child summed it up perfectly by saying it was “the best trip ever!”
Pupils enjoyed exploring the exhibitions, watching cars in action on the track, and asking thoughtful questions about how different types of vehicles work. The staff at Mercedes-Benz World were incredibly impressed with their curiosity, good manners and enthusiasm.
A huge well done to our wonderful Year 1 learners for representing the school so brilliantly, and a big thank you to the staff team and parent helpers who made the trip possible.
