Welcome to RE
At The Vale we take pride in celebrating people’s differences and our RE curriculum enables us to understand the beliefs and cultures of others and have in-depth conversations about a range of topics.
We use the Surrey Agreed Syllabus which starts off each topic with a ‘Big Question’ which we explore and discuss as class. Throughout the year we also acknowledge different festivals and celebrations during assemblies and class discussions.
We would like to remind parents/carers of their right to withdraw their children from all or part of the religious education. If you would like to discuss this, please contact the school office to make an appointment with the co-headteachers.
