GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Dare to be Different Day

Last week we celebrated differences with our ‘Dare to be Different’ day.

It was great to see all the children embracing the day with different clothes, hair, snacks etc.

In assembly we talked about how the Dare to be Different Day helps us highlight how we are all different and that this is amazing because we all have different qualities to bring to the school community team.

We reminded ourselves of the Inclusion Pledge from the House Captain meetings and how we all belong at The Vale.
