World Book Day 2025

What a fantastic World Book Day we had this week!

The day was filled with incredible pyjamas and costumes, and we want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made such a great effort to make it special.

A special thank you also goes out for the generous donations of books for the 'Bring and Buy' sale, which was expertly coordinated by Year 6.

The sale was a huge success, as all children had the opportunity to visit throughout the day and choose a book to take home—truly supporting our vision of every child at the Vale being a reader and enjoying books.

One of the highlights of the day was the magical buddy reading session in the hall between year groups, where older and younger children came together to share reading experiences and celebrate the joy of books.

It was a wonderful day, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it all came together. Happy World Book Day!
