GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

The Miracle of metamorphosis! Caterpillars to butterflies! Robin class were sooo excited to come into class today and see that some of the butterflies had emerged from the chrysalides. One or two hours after their emergence the Painted lady butterflies were fully formed and ready to fly! We fed them with some nectar (sugar-water) and fruit. We then released the butterflies outside so that they could continue the amazing life cycle all over again! Butterflies are important and helpful members of our environment.
